Midwest OB/GYN is proud to offer Pregnancy Centering to our prenatal patients!

Centering IS prenatal care with support from other pregnant women and a learning focused environment. Providers go through special training to ensure quality experiences and outcomes for patients involved.

Where is Centering Available?
We are the only OB/GYN providers in the St. Charles area participating in Centering at this time.

When is Centering Available?
We offer a new 2 hour class starting each month and one of our physicians is present for all of each class! All 10 centering dates are determined in advance for easy planning. Contact the office for specific dates and times.

Is there additional cost to the patient with Centering?
No. It is included in routine coverage by ALL insurance plans.

Can I bring a family member or support person?
Of course!

Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately, we do not have adequate child care resources to invite children to Centering at this time. We encourage class time to be a relaxing environment for pregnant patients to enjoy and focus on their current pregnancy.

Do I have any visits alone with the Doctor?
YES! Centering includes a short individual assessment with the physician each time. Patients also will be scheduled for as many private visits as needed. On average, this is more common near the end of the pregnancy. Each pregnancy is different and we make sure patients receive individualized care.
