- Q:Will my insurance cover it?
A:We encourage everyone to call their insurance company. We have a billing department on site that can help you with any questions you may have. -
Q:Who delivers my baby?
A:During the day your baby is delivered by your physician of choice. During the night the doctor on call will make the delivery. -
Q:During my pregnancy, why must I see all the doctors?
A:Since its possible that any doctor may be on call during any given night or weekend, we encourage you to meet all the physicians. -
Q:If I have a high-risk pregnancy, where will I deliver?
A:Almost all high- risk pregnancies can deliver at St. Joseph's Hospital West. -
Q:Why is a PAP smear not always included in my annual exam?
A:The ACOG guidelines changed in 2009 and as a result low-risk women no longer need a pap smear every year.
